What can we do differently now?

We are living in a culture entirely hypnotized by the illusion of time. Preoccupied with memory and expectation. We simply don’t pay attention to the present. It’s more than 100 days since the new government came into power. It’s is so inspiring to hear the tales of our leaders but it looks like a mere illusion before the eyes of public. We have expectations from leaders but do we even know what kind of nation do we want? There is expectation and fear of the past. Both have nothing to do with today, but rather a poison to our progress, if every today we complain and criticise. It is more than five decades of independence. What can we do differently today as young citizens of the United Republic of Tanzania? This is the question in my mind.
